Truth Repels the Natural Man

As Jesus continues to teach He knows that the truth causes the natural man to complain and grumble. So, He reinforces the truth of the gospel and the totality of His disciples leaves sans the twelve.

Midweek Teaching: Assurance and Faith is Found IN Christ Alone

This midweek sermon is dealing with the topic of assurance is based on the finished work of Christ and reveals that James & Paul concur that it is all centered on the work of Christ alone through Faith, not works. While works are commanded of the believer and church discipline can be enforced, Christ alone through Faith alone is the biblical prescription for hope.

Difficult Teaching is Impossible to Hear

This week in John’s gospel we begin to see the Lord Jesus Christ reiterate the truth that they could not believe because they had not been given life through the Spirit by His words. So, they grumbled about Him, stirring and being divisive concerning the truth of the gospel of Grace.

No man can stay in Christ except Christ Keep that man!

John 6:55–58

[55] For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. [56] Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. [57] As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. [58] This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

Giving is one of the toughest matters to teach…

Scripture reveals that tithing is not really a New Testament matter for the Christian church. Giving, however, is something that is part of the life of the body of Christ. This sermon will look at the point of giving and how a believer should understand his or her place in this ministry of grace.

God desires our hearts over our funds.
