I really don’t hate Fridays, but if I entitled this, “My afternoon thoughts and musings” only about five of you would have read it.
If I entitled this, “The logical absence of theological fortitude among Sovereign Grace believers” it would have blown up. Or better yet, “You might be reprobate, read this and take the test.”
My day has been filled with standard maintenance, health, kids, wife, dog, cats, and cars. Not to count my tedious affection with sorting my laundry by color, weave, and blend. So, I can be busy with small tasks if I’m not paying attention. But, my day has also been occupied with superb gospel conversations with dear brethren across the country, and because of that, I am full and content that today has been a profitable day.
This week, in fact, has been full of intimate, gospel-focused conversations with the church. I am pleased and thankful for the Lord’s grace in these matters and especially how God the Spirit has given the brethren a sense of peace and patience with each other. In the near future, I will be reestablishing our pastor’s school abroad and begin teaching once again the Biblical instruction and call to the office of pastor/overseer. I also hope to launch my revamp of Theology On Call and yet, my heart breaks over the fact that I have lost many friends and partners in that ministry for unknown reasons. They just ghosted without a trace.
January 6, 2023, we are hosting the Sovereign Grace Alliance Conference on Assurance and Lordship Salvation. Pastors Scott Price, Sonny Hernandez, and Bill Parker will join me on this matter as we solidify our partnership in the Gospel of Free and Sovereign Grace. I will also be spending two days per week writing theological articles over at GraceTruth.org and finishing a few books on Marriage, Grace, Faith, and other vital topics from an applied theological position. I’m going to need some prayer and support in this effort.
In addition to these directional changes, I am also moving my interaction to this website and going to have other people manage my Facebook, Twitter, and other social profiles. These mediums have been catalysts for distraction so I no longer need to concern myself with them. This will give me focused time to engage with the church planting efforts around the country as well as partner with others in our alliance for the production and publishing of gospel materials, television, and radio content. I will be utilizing YouTube to continue housing my teaching and also starting a new channel where I will begin to publish my original music including hymns, piano, and saxophone compositions.
Finally, the absence of Gospel power in the lives of so many is evidenced by their continued fickleness, theological witch hunts, and ignorance of Biblical intimacy around the gospel. I’ll be organizing a community effort to instruct the church on how to truly live and deal with life both inside and outside the faith.
It’s Friday. I have a lot to do before sundown. But I do pray for those of you I know.
See you next week. – For some, I’ll see you Sunday.
All this said… If the Lord wills.

That recognition is where the work starts. A discovery call is one focused conversation: no pitch, no commitment. You leave knowing what is actually going on and whether working together makes sense.
