Because It Matters!

Sometimes in our conversations with people about truth, they will come to the point of saying, “Does doctrine really matter? Is theology necessary? Can’t we just have Jesus? While this sounds nice, it is foolish. First, because it ignores the meaning of those terms: doctrine means teaching and theology is the learning of God. Both are given in every breath of scripture!

Look at this tree in my eye! Your dusty specs are truly a problem. Dealing with sin is hard enough in our own lives, but what to do when we have to address it in each other? Why is it so hard?
