When we preach the full counsel, we don’t skip parts.
There is a short supply of expositors in our day. Much more is the scarcity of those who will not ignore difficult doctrines (teachings) in Scripture. One point that proves this is how so many pastors will preach ‘from’ the Bible or “use” the Bible for a sermon they prepared and after years of teaching have never taught, dealt with or even approached the teaching of election. They are fearful, they are not wanting division. But in the end, it is election that causes the rift because it is the gospel of God.
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God..”
John 1:12-13
